The old souls and the new souls? Well, the formation of soul actually determines the course of your evolution. There are definitely new souls and old souls among you. There's definitely huge difference between both of them and it's based on the level of experience you have. Creation is the process through which you are getting graduated to be god. God is always there to help you out but karma makes the course of your life. The evolved mass of energy helps the rest of energy get evolved through the process of Creation.
The new souls: These are the ones who have just been introduced to the new density of consciousness, which they have yet to get acclimatized. There are two ways with which a soul of lower density of consciousness, can get graduated into the higher one. The one way is done through the physical manipulation by a soul of higher order in such a way that a soul of the lower order happens to learn initial lessons, being practiced in the higher order. In other words, it's a kind of cohabitation or close interaction between the souls who belong to two different orders in which the soul of the lower order is highly influenced by the higher order and gets ready to have higher values assimilated. This is what happens when you raise an animal or plant and you are actually helping the soul get graduated. This is how a soul of lower order gets karmically qualified to be graduated. The other way is the natural cyclic process, which takes a long time as a soul has to understand all the aspects of a birth cycle to accept another one. How can you identify the new souls among the humans: Those souls who have just graduated from the plant or animal world get a little bit confused sometimes, to get adjusted to the new avatar with a new density of consciousness. Souls have to repeat their avatars to get maturity. New souls have very simplistic understanding about life, as a result, they do have childish nature. They are totally engulfed by the mirages of mind and live a self centric life, being more competitive always. They tend to enjoy the new avenues, open and are concentrated more on the materialistic aspects of life. Spirituality lies way beyond their ordinary comprehension and they tend to mistake it for superstition. They give more importance to their personal achievement and materialistic gains. They are more likely to get addicted drugs, alcoholic beverages or smoking. They are engaged in mutual conflict, wars, violence, abuse of power, envy, jealousy and all other animalistic aspects of life. Such a pattern of life make them karmically entrapped in such a way that they need to reincarnate several times until they get their lessons corrected. Repetitive birth cycles make a soul mature enough to get spiritually awakened while living itself.
The old souls: There are two types of old souls. One group of them are earthlings getting mature through repeated birth cycles. Some souls need 100 to 1000 repeated birth cycles on the Earth to be old ones. The other group of old souls are of alien origin. These migrant souls are looking for their interplanetary evolution and most of them take avatar as humans either to help others get evolved or get evolved through a planet which is similar to their home planet in terms of the collective density of planetary consciousness.

They appear to be more focused on their spiritual enhancement. They are more cooperative, collaborative, humanitarian and empathetic by nature. As an old soul, you are likely to be more patient and whatever you do, you tend to focus more on quality. You spend more time improving your spirituality. You want to learn more and enjoy the company of those who are physically older than you. You do have more service mentality and tend to respect and care the animal and plant lives. You prefer not socialize more and keep the company of a very few good people. You are likely to be cheated financially or taken advantage of, by the less conscious, but this happens only with your knowledge, especially when you allow this to happen. You can definitely guide people and support them wherever needed. Most of you tend to have some financial issues as your focus is not placed on making a lot of cash. Sometimes, you feel alienated because the rest of the people can't get adjusted to the way you live or the way you think.
What happens to the old souls: Most of the old souls get successfully graduated into the higher densities of consciousness after death and some are even capable of getting liberated.
